I am currently working on the history of algebraic expressions in medieval and early modern mathematics, as well as on the circulation of algebra and arithmetic across the Mediterranean Sea.
Research field
I am interested in the history and philosophy of mathematics; the history of Arabic sciences, and the study of the circulation of scientific knowledge.
More precisely, I am a specialist of the history of Arabic mathematics; the history and philosophy of algebra (9th - 17th century), and al-Zanjānī's mathematical writings (13th century).
